How to Delete Your Account

HOW TO DELETE YOUR SOLARA ACCOUNT

Thank you for using Solara. You can delete your account and the data linked to it in either of the two ways below.

Data that will be deleted: records of your Pro subscription status, your purchased credit balance, consultation history, favorites, device identifiers, your nickname, and birth information (date of birth, time of birth, place of birth). See the table at the bottom of this page for details.

Method 1: Delete from within the App (recommended, immediate)

If you already have the Solara app installed and are signed in, you can delete your account in a few taps from within the app.

  1. Launch the Solara app
  2. Tap Sanctuary (the ✦ mark) in the bottom navigation
  3. Open the Account section
  4. Tap "Delete account from Solara" (shown in red)
  5. Review the contents of the confirmation dialog, then select "Delete"
    If you use Sign in with Apple, you will be asked to sign in again to verify your identity
What happens after deletion:
  • Your account data on the server is deleted immediately
  • If you use Sign in with Apple, the app link on Apple's side (Apple ID settings → apps currently using Sign in with Apple) is also unlinked automatically
  • If you have an active paid subscription (Cosmic Pro), canceling the subscription itself must be done separately. Please refer to How to Cancel
  • Local settings on the device (theme, favorite backgrounds, etc.) are also completely erased when you uninstall the app

Method 2: Contact us by email (for those who have already removed the app)

If you have already uninstalled the Solara app and wish to delete your account data on the server, please contact us by email at the address below.

Information to include in your email

Identity verification request:
To prevent unauthorized deletion by impersonation, please be sure to send your request from the email address you used at registration. If your request comes from a different address, we may ask for additional information to verify your identity.

Time required to process

We will complete the process and send you a confirmation within 7 business days of receiving your email. Business days are weekdays, excluding weekends and public holidays. Processing may be delayed during extended closures such as the year-end and New Year period.

Exception: data retained due to legal obligations

Under Japan's Electronic Books Maintenance Act and the Specified Commercial Transactions Act, only the following information about purchase transactions must be retained for 7 years from the time of purchase:

This information is retained as tax-related supporting evidence; all of the "personally identifying information" mentioned above (email, birth information, consultation content, etc.) is deleted.
